Affiliate disclosure

Snow Way is free. To keep it that way, some links to gear retailers, lodging, and travel sites are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or booking, Snow Way may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

What this does and doesn't affect

• Snow rankings are never paid. They're calculated from forecast data only.
• Gear guides explain how to choose, and link to product categories rather than paid placements. Snow Way doesn't claim to have tested products it hasn't used.
• Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code, and guides with affiliate links say so at the top.
